Work with AI
Pick an assistant. It opens with a ready prompt and walks you through this guide step by step.
Help me follow the guide “Google Workspace: Gmail on your own domain” from PerfoState: https://perfostate.com/guides/google-workspace/ Open this page and read the whole guide. Walk me through it point by point: describe one step, wait until I say it is done, and only then move on. If the guide has several paths, first ask which one fits my situation. Do not guess steps that are not on the page. If you cannot open the page, say so directly. If something does not work or the screen looks different from the guide, check the official help of the company whose panel I am using (for example the company where my domain is registered) and tell me what changed. If I am still stuck, suggest contacting PerfoState: website https://perfostate.com/#contact. Never ask me for passwords. Answer in English, briefly and in plain words.

- If you don’t add payment by the end of the trial, the account is suspended.

4Send us the verification record
In the Admin console, open “Manage domains” (opens in a new tab), click “Verify domain” and then “Get started”.
- Choose the company where your domain is, or “My domain uses a different host”, and click “Continue”.
- In the “TXT record” section, copy the “Value” that starts with “google-site-verification=”.
- Paste it into the field below, mark whether you already have email on the domain and click “Send email”.
- Need several addresses, for example info@? Add them first in “Users” (opens in a new tab) → “Add new user”, because emails to an address without an account bounce back to the sender.
- You don’t share your password.

Has DKIM authentication been turned on yet?
No rush. Go back to the list of steps or email us: we’ll go through it together.
Done. Your email runs on Google, and the SPF and DKIM records help keep your emails out of spam. After 48 hours we will add a DMARC record and check that everything works.
Questions about Google Workspace
How much does Google Workspace cost?
It depends on the plan, the number of users and how you pay. Example: Business Starter is $7 per user per month on the Annual Plan or $8.40 on the Flexible Plan, Business Standard $14 or $16.80. Google lists these prices in US dollars or the equivalent in your local currency. Prices as of October 13, 2026. Prices may change. Check the source: Google help on Business editions, as of October 13, 2026 (opens in a new tab)
Can I try Google Workspace first?
Yes. The free trial lasts 14 days and covers up to 10 users. You have to set up billing before the trial ends, otherwise the account is suspended. Check the source: Google help on the free trial, as of October 13, 2026 (opens in a new tab)
Where is my data stored?
In Business Starter, Google does not let you choose where data is stored. In Business Standard and Business Plus, the admin can choose the United States or Europe. Check the source: Google help on data location, as of October 13, 2026 (opens in a new tab)
Do I have to move my domain to Google?
No. The domain stays with the company where it is registered. We only change its DNS records: MX sends email to Google, and SPF, DKIM and DMARC help keep your emails out of spam and stop others from pretending to send email from your domain. Check the source: Google help on MX records, as of October 13, 2026 (opens in a new tab)
What are SPF, DKIM and DMARC for?
They are three DNS records that let the recipient’s mailbox check that an email really comes from you. SPF lists the servers allowed to send email from your domain. DKIM adds a digital signature to every email. DMARC says what to do with an email that fails the check: deliver it, move it to spam or reject it. We start with a gentle policy, as Google recommends. What about the emails I have with another provider now?
Until the new MX records start working (up to 72 hours), emails keep going to your current provider. After that, new messages arrive in Gmail. Google lets you copy earlier emails to the new mailboxes with its data import tool. If you want to move them, let us know. Check the source: Google help on changing MX records, as of October 13, 2026 (opens in a new tab)Check the source: Google help on importing email, as of October 13, 2026 (opens in a new tab)
Not sure which company runs your email now? Enter a domain or an email address.
Do you get admin access to my email?
No. For a one-off setup, the records from the console are enough. Admin access is needed only for ongoing monthly care of your email: then you add us as a user with the admin role, and you pay for that account like for any other user.
