DKIM
DomainKeys Identified Mail
A digital signature on your emails. The recipient’s mailbox checks it with a key stored in your domain’s DNS and knows the email really came from your domain.
How does DKIM work?
Your mail server signs every outgoing email with a secret key. A second, public key sits in a TXT record in your domain’s DNS. The recipient’s mailbox fetches it and uses it to check the signature.
Where do you get a DKIM key?
From your email provider. In Google Workspace you generate it in the Admin console, and after adding the record to your domain you turn on email signing.
